HYS programs run year round and are offered for young children, school age groups and families to adults and seniors.  Programs are designed to meet our three prong mission of the Arts, History and Environment, by interpreting HYS through educational tours, lectures, outreach, workshops, themed family events and summer camps.  We will work with individual groups and organizations to tailor a program that fits their needs.

Step-On Tours - please call at least two weeks in advance ($4 per person)
Our HYS Gudie will 'step-on' your mini-bus (24 passengers or less) and give an enlivened and detailed history from interesting vantage points throughout the property and surrounding area. Visitors will see landscapes and buildings not part of our standard Village Walking Tours.

Village Walking Tours - please call at least two weeks in advance ($5 per person)
This is an adult focused outdoor walking program that includes a guided tour of the various historic buildings and beautiful grounds, plus a visit to our orientation exhibit "The Lure of the Springs."

Speaker's Bureau - please call at least one month in advance ($50 per lecture)
HYS can provide a speaker for your event or meeting. We recommend our "Introduction to Historic Yellow Springs" which is an illustrated overview of the village, its history and current events in a lively presentation.

Full and half day programs can be designed to meet your group's needs. HYS has many events and exhibits throughout the year with related guided tours and specialty speakers for a variety of diverse themes on the arts, history and the environment. Exclusive talks with artists and expert led workshops are available.
