GOOD NEW PRODUCTIONS 1952-1974
Many of the women living in the village supported the film production company in various ways. Some worked in production writing and typing material, some were artists who produced storyboards and others painted sets or refurbished living quarters. All helped cook meals, along with the men, and babysat the children.
JEAN YEAWORTH was a major part of the Good News Productions Film Company at Yellow Springs. She was a script writer, a talented musician, and the right-hand assistant to husband Director Irvin ìShortyî Yeaworth. She was a prominent woman in the filmmaking company.
LEE ANN MERIWETHER starred in THE 4-D MAN along with a young PATTY DUKE.
ANETA CORSEAUT played the romantic female lead in THE BLOB. All three women went on to fame and prominence with careers in the movies and TV.
