Get out the chairs and blankets and gather your kids, friends, neighbors and friendly pets and join us at Yellow Springs for the 17th Annual JAZZ AT THE SPRINGS.   And don’t forget your picnic basket of food and drinks as you sit back, relax and enjoy the great jazz at Yellow Springs.  We will begin our event at 3 p.m. on the lawn behind the Chester Springs Studio and we are rain or shine.  (If it rains, we will move to The Washington.)   And be sure to grab one of our signature balloons – a yearly trademark of Jazz at the Springs.

Glenn Ferracone and Friends will be joining us again to produce the sounds and spirit of the day.  Their music is a perfect blend to the beauty of our landscape.   It is a relaxing, soothing and “cool” afternoon atmosphere to enjoy.

On this day, the Chester Springs Studio will also be firing its wood kiln.  This will be the last time this kiln, established in 1988, will be fired and our potters will gather to mark this ending but also to celebrate the rebuild of the wood kiln later this summer.  Join them in observing the firing.  At this time, you will be able to see  wheel throwing exhibitions.  In addition, there will be pottery for purchase also.

We thank Board member Bob Willson and his committee who continue to present this jazz event here in our village.
