Outdoor jazz will be returning to Historic Yellow Springs for the 15th year on June 3, 2012. Board of Directors member Bob Willson has been chairing this annual event for all 15 of those years and promises another great afternoon of fun, food and great music at Yellow Springs.
Glenn Ferracone and Friends will be returning to share their great blend of jazz for our enjoyment. Beginning at 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 3, the old tennis courts behind the Chester Springs Studio will be alive with great sounds. (In case of rain we will move to the newly refurbished Washington Building.) There is no charge for this event so grab your chairs and blankets and pack a picnic basket and join us here in the village for a relaxing, soothing afternoon. Beer and soft drinks will be available for purchase.
The Chester Springs Studio will be hosting a members' woodfiring. The studio will demonstrate wheel throwing and pots from the studio will be for sale.
This is always a fun day in the village so don’t miss it. Great jazz, great art and a picnic, too! Grab your free balloons and sit back and enjoy. It is our pleasure to welcome you and we thank Bob Willson and his committee for continuing to offer this great treat. We especially want to thank the area sponsors whose generous support allows us to produce Jazz at the Springs.
