8:30am - 15th Annual 5K Run, 3K Walk, 1/2 Mile Kids Run
Kick off the day by running one of Chester County’s longest running 5K runs on a beautiful course. Registration $15 in advance, $20 on race day, $5 for children. For registration and more information click here.
10:30am - 2:00pm - Sundaes on Sunday
KIDS! Visit the village for tons of FREE fun in the middle of the day. Thanks to West Pikeland Township for sponsoring the event. Here’s a schedule of Sundaes on Sundays activities:
- 10:30 – 12:30pm Crafts, puppet making, face painting
- 10:30 – 12:30pm & 1 – 3pm Charcoal portraits by Helena van Emmerik-Finn ($5 each)
- 12:30 – 1:15 pm Puppet Show in or near Washington Building
- 1:15 – 2:00 pm FREE Ice-cream Sundaes by Lionville Baskins & Robbins
2:00pm - 5:00pm - All About Trees Exhibition
View the works of over 25 artists, as they portray different perspectives on trees in this multi-media exhibition. This FREE opening takes place in the Lincoln Building. Kids will enjoy a special tree-art activity during the exhibition’s opening.
3:00pm to 5:30pm - Jazz at the Springs
Come relax to the sounds of jazz on the green behind the Chester Springs Studio Barn. Visit with artists from the Chester Springs Studio as they demonstrate painting techniques, stone sculpture, wood firing, and ceramics work. Purchase your official “Jazz at the Springs” t-shirt. Refreshments provided by Victory Brewing.
