Help Send a Child to Camp
You Can Make a Difference!
Help to change a child’s life by contributing to the Historic Yellow Springs (HYS) Camp Sponsorship Fund. Each gift goes toward this goal, and $250 sponsors a child for a full week, including cost of supplies.
HYS offers week-long, half-day Art and Archaeology Camps for Kids. Children have fun and create new friendships while developing artistic skills with visual arts and clay. Kids with an interest in art and history particularly benefit from our camps as they learn artistic techniques or participate in an actual archaeological dig!
HYS believes that all children should have the opportunity to develop hidden abilities, skills and discover new interests. We support diversity and welcome children from all walks of life. Not all parents have the needed funds, so with your support, we can enable greater opportunities for all children.
A Creative Impact
The tradition of HYS Summer Camps is well established. Multiple generations have attended and alumni parents continue to enroll their children. Many have found that these skills and character-building experiences have had an impact on their lives, and some have even gone on to related careers. Families return to enjoy the natural beauty of Historic Yellow Springs and participate in our fun events during summer camp. The following comments come from parents of campers:
