Welcome the spirit of autumn and save the date for the highly anticipated second annual Village Open House on October 15, 2023! Explore the charming village of Yellow Springs and it’s unique 300 year history, while indulging in a delightful array of fall activities for visitors of all ages. This event is free and open to the public!

As the leaves change color and the air turns crisp, we invite you to unleash your inner artist and carve out some fall fun! This event promises to be a gourd-geous exhibition filled with creativity, and, of course, plenty of pumpkin magic. Whether you're an experienced pumpkin carver or just looking to try your hand at it for the first time, everyone is welcome to join in the Halloween spirit.
The Jack-O-Lantern Exhibition will take place during the Village Open House on October 15, from 12 – 4 pm. Visitors will get to vote for their favorite pumpkins by scanning a QR code and the winners will be shared on social media!
Contest Rules:
Lights and exhibition tags for pumpkins will be provided.
Carved Pumpkins can be checked in at Historic Yellow Springs in the Lincoln building on Friday, October 13, from 9:30 am – 3:45 pm.
Pumpkins can be picked up at 4 pm on Sunday, October 15, or on Monday, October 16 from 10 am - 2 pm.
